This privacy policy provides an overview of the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is all information with which you can be personally identified, including your IP address.

In addition, this privacy policy contains general information on data protection in general, which applies to all our processing activities.

Contact with us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Data processing on behalf

We have concluded a contract with Google for commissioned data processing.

IP anonymisation

We use the function ‘Activation of IP anonymisation’ on this website. This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Facebook and Instagram

We use a ‘Facebook pixel’ from the social network Facebook Inc (‘Facebook’). The Facebook pixel can be used to track the behaviour of users after they have clicked on a Facebook ad. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can understand how our marketing measures are received on Facebook and, if necessary, take optimisation measures. The tracking of users who reach our website after clicking on one of our Facebook adverts can take up to 180 days.

The data collected remains anonymous and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the user. Facebook stores and processes the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Policy.

Your rights

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, cancellation and objection with regard to your data stored by us.

You have the right:

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
  • in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;
  • to demand the erasure of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
  • in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims or you have lodged an objection to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
  • in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller;
  • in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, insofar as your personal data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest, to object to the processing of your personal data, provided that there are reasons for this arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without specifying a particular situation.
  • in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. As a result, we may no longer continue the data processing that was based on this consent in the future.
  • pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority regarding the unlawful processing of your data by us. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company headquarters.

Assertion of data subject rights

You yourself decide on the use of your personal data. Should you therefore wish to exercise any of your above-mentioned rights against us, you are welcome to contact us by email at datenschutz@sirpauls.at. Please send a copy of an official photo ID together with your request for clear identification and assist us in specifying your request by answering questions from our responsible employees regarding the processing of your personal data. Please indicate in your enquiry in which role (employee, applicant, supplier, customer, etc.) and during which period you have been in contact with us. This will enable us to process your enquiry promptly.

Forwarding of data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR, the disclosure in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR is necessary to safeguard operational interests and for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disclosing your data, in the event that there is a legal obligation to disclose your data in accordance with Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR, if there is a legal obligation to do so and if this is legally permissible and necessary for the processing of contractual relationships with you in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Cooperation with processors

If we commission third parties with the processing of data on the basis of an order processing contract, this is done on the basis of Art. 28 GDPR.
